Server to Server Checkout

• Server to Server Checkout is now available. The S2S Checkout API can be used to process a checkout outside of the BigCommerce storefront or pre-populate a checkout’s information to speed up checkout for storefront shoppers. Possible use cases include:
• Subscription billing
• Custom manual order workflows, invoicing, and quoting
• Native mobile app checkout
• “Headless” storefronts

Webhooks

• List of Events were redesigned and group by event type
• A new Shipping Webhook was added
• A walkthrough on how to test webhooks was added

Storefront API

• The Orders API was updated to have Stencil instructions
• The Storefront Checkout has instructions on adding a script to log the checkout to the console.

Products

• Brands can now be created when a product is created.
• brand_name or brand_id can be used during the /POST request
